It is possible to import several images at a time and merge them into a single image. The result will be a composite or a merged image. Sometimes, the composite image is referred to as a mosaic. The image below consists of five different hyperspectral images recorded from animal feed.

In order to create a composite image please follow the instructions for the multiple file import.

When all the single files have been added to the import procedure, the merged images is treated as a single image. The user can here access all functionality available for the normal file importing procedure.
