Evince features an automatic update system. Each time Evince is started (and detects an Internet connection), it connects to Prediktera and checks for updates. If available updates are found, a dialog will appear allowing you to select which updates to download and install. It is always recommended to install all updates as soon as they are available. Checking for updates can also be done by choosing "Check for Updates" in the Help menu.
