| Plot Toolbar |
The plot toolbar is located above the Plot Area and is used for making changes in plots. The options available in the toolbar vary depending on which type of plot is selected.

- The Arrange buttons
offer options for arranging the windows in the Plot Area.
- The Print button prints the selected plot.
- The Restore Plot Layout button will move plot fields back to their default positions.
- The Plot Layout button lets the user move and resize the different
fields of the plot.
- The Text Box button creates a text window from any plotted object. Click on
the object and drag and release to create the text box. The drop-down next to
the text box button offers options for creating rectangle, ellipse
and line shapes. The user can also add a custom image from disk to the plot. A browser window appears where the user can select which image to insert.
- The Selection buttons offer several different kinds of selection
tools. Next to the pointing hand is a drop-down with the available options:
Point selection, Rectangle selection, Elliptical selection
and Freehand selection.
- There are several buttons for zooming. The first one is Zoom to Fit All
which will zoom out to make all objects visible. The next button contains three
options: Zoom Area, Zoom In and Zoom Out.
- The Pan View button lets the user move around to view different parts
of the plot.
- The Rotate 3D button lets the user rotate 3D visualizations with
mouse movements.
- Reset 3D View offers several positioning options as can be seen in
the picture above.
