In Evince, you can access the plot menu by right-clicking on any plot. The plot menu contains options for altering the selection of objects, the appearance of objects and options for changing various properties of the plot itself.

Options:

- Plot Field Properties: Opens a dialog where the appearance of the currently selected Plot Field can be altered.

- Include: Includes the selected observations/variables to be part of model calculations.

- Exclude: Excludes the selected observations/variables to be part of model calculations.

- Apply Changes: Apply changes will update the models with the alterations made to active DataSet. For example, if a number of observations/variables have been excluded, apply changes will recalculate the models with only the included observations/variables.

- Add selected to...: Sets the selected observations/variables to belong to the following;

- New Category: Sets the objects to belong to a class in a category.
- New Variable/Observation: Sets the objects to a new variable (for observations) or to a new observation (for variables).
- New DataSet: Creates a new DataSet with only the selected observations/variables included.

Advanced menu:

- Change Settings for Selection: Adjusts the appearance of selected objects. This will override the settings applied in the Settings Panel. This option is only available when at least one point has been selected. This option is not available when objects have been selected from more than one layer.

- Apply Layer Settings from Layer: Retrieves plot settings from another main- or sub-layer and applies them to the selected sub-layer in the active plot. It is possible to choose settings from another plot or another layer within the same plot.

- Select Points from Layer: Selects all objects from a main- or sub-layer.

- Move Selection into Layer: Moves selected objects into a new or existing layers. Selected objects can only be moved within the same main layer. This option is only available when at least one point has been selected.

- Create Sub-layers from category: Creates sub-layers from a category. A sub-layer is created for each of the classes of the selected category. If the main layer already contains sub-layers, these will be removed prior to the creation of the new sub-layers.

- Select All: Selects all plot objects.

- Invert Selection: Selects all objects not currently selected.

- Clear Selection: De-selects all objects.

- Selections: Opens the plot selections dialog.

- Copy Plot to Clipboard: Copies the plot to the clipboard so it can be pasted into another type of document.

- Save As: Saves the plot to a file. Available file formats are gif, png, svg, tif and jpg. Prior to saving the plot to a file, the user can specify the resolution of the final image (low medium high).

- Properties: Opens the plot properties dialog.
