The Y Image creates a Contour 2D plot of the calculated Y values and also, if available, the predicted Y values.

The Y image consists of two layers, one for the calculated Y values and one for the predicted Y values. The user can untick the boxes next to the layers in settings panel to make a layer invisible.

If a test set exists, a Prediction table will also be shown in the table area when the Y Image is created. There is an interaction between the Prediction table and the Y Image, which means that if one of the cells in the table is selected this will automatically select the pixels in the plot.

With the exception of "Data range", the settings for the Y image is identical to those for the Contour 2D plot. Here, the user can select what Y-variable and what component to plot.
