System requirements
Please note: The hardware requirements for running our software is highly dependent on your data size, both the number of files and the individual file size. But here are some general recommendations:
Minimum:
For testing with our tutorial data (which is down sized) or other smaller datasets, Breeze can run on any PC with x64 processor architecture.
OS: Windows® (10 or later), Linux (Ubuntu 18 or later)Â
Recommendations:
- Processor: Intel CPU with multiple cores. Fast Core i9 for optimal performance.
- System memory: 32 GB or more, depending on the size of your data.
- Storage: A fast solid state drive (SSD) for Breeze data, and another for the operating system
- The latest Windows or Ubuntu Linux versions, supported by the vendors
